Eyewear
Glasses from the doctors who wrote the prescription
Frames, lenses and repairs, and a copy of your prescription whether or not you buy from us.
Our optical is small and sits beside the exam rooms. The doctor who finds your prescription is down the hall when a lens question comes up.
Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.
What we help you choose
Lenses for what you do
Distance, near or both, with coatings suited to screens, driving and bright light.
Lenses for a medical reason
Tints and protection for eyes that are light sensitive, and lenses that fit a prescription that has changed after an eye problem.
Frame fitting
A frame is adjusted to sit level and stay put. We fit frames in many styles.
Repairs and adjustments
A bent frame, a loose screw or a worn nose pad is fixed while you wait, when we can.
Protective eyewear
Safety glasses for work and sport, with a prescription when you need one.
Sunglasses after a dilated exam
Tinted glasses for the drive home are one of the things people ask about most.

Billing and what to bring
How glasses are billed
A routine exam is billed to a vision plan, and the plan's eyewear benefit applies to glasses. Medical insurance does not pay for most glasses. We tell you what each part costs before you decide.
How fees workWhat to bring
Your current glasses
Your vision plan card
Your prescription, if it is from another office
